WhatsApp security has never been a consensual topic and has led to many problems being discovered. In most cases, these are complicated situations that end up being resolved permanently.
A new situation is now being reported that puts users’ privacy at risk. At stake are the phone numbers of 500 million users for sale on the Internet and it is not known how they were collected.

This information has now been revealed, bringing to light yet another complicated situation for WhatsApp and its many users. In total, there are almost 500 million phone numbers for accounts on this Meta service, originating from 84 countries.
